Hi, I'm Avery!

I'm a former social media marketer turned UI/UX designer. I graduated from the University of Virginia, where I studied Cognitive Science with a concentration in Computer Science and double-majored in Economics. In my free time, you'll find me working on fun crafts, playing guitar, or drawing illustrations on my tablet!

I've been designing digital interfaces for ~5 years, primarily working with early-stage startups. I find it fulfilling to help a CEO turn their vision into a beautiful, marketable, and intuitive product.

Early in my career, I led a full-time bootcamp for aspiring UI/UX designers. I provided career mentorship and hands-on instruction through a design curriculum I crafted with my co-instructor. Many of my former students have gone on to have successful design careers!
